If the good lord had intended for us to walk, he wouldn'tve invented roller skates...Willy Wonka
apoplectic
Okay, she disappeared, and I'm not happy. Not in a sad way but in a pissed off way, because she didn't even have the decency to call, email, text, ANYTHING to tell me she didn't want to see me anymore. Is this the norm? I can see this being considered asking too much after one date, but after three, shouldn't she be a tad more considerate? Just curious....
In awe...
Saw the Broadway version of the Lion King tonight...extraordinary barely describes it. I was a Broadway virgin until tonight, and I want more! Next on my list is The Rat Pack Live in Las Vegas, which runs in October.
What's Going to Happen Hal?
Just watched Howl's Moving Castle. Strange film...another by Miyazaki. Now, I liked and understood Spirited Away, but this one took quite a bit more thought, and there were still parts that slid right past me. anyone else see it?
In other parts of my life, i'm in uncharted territory. took the creator of these butterflies out wednesday night, and she was into it, loved pauline reese and the chachkes i gave her (raved about the carbon leaf cd today...score two for me!). kissed me on the cheek, said she wanted to see me again. i had a great time, too, btw. the odd thing is we are exchanging very little personal information. usually by this time, i know a hellalot about someone, but not this time around. she is a VERY busy person...working one job part-time, and running her own business. our phone calls never last very long, and she appears to be into me as we talk...and naturally, i'm SO into her.
i'm befuddled as i've never been in a relationship like this. is this what it's like to date a busy person?
